A webinar is an online seminar that focuses on a specific topic that is both relevant and current for early years providers.
Here you can get free access to monthly SMARTpd webinars hosted by our own early years experts.
Participants are able to view a ‘live’ presentation and have the opportunity to submit questions and contribute to discussion. Each webinar then remains available via our You Tube channel.

Good communication and language skills are an essential element of children’s early development.
Early years practitioners play a vital role in supporting these areas, directly in their work with children and also in helping parents create an effective home learning environment.
here is increasing attention being placed on this area of work by Ofsted within their revised Education Inspection Framework which is to be introduced in September 2019.
Throughout 2019 the Pre-school Learning Alliance will be delivering a series of webinars on these vital topics.
The first session provides an overview of the importance of Speech & Language, and offers practical ideas to help you support all children in your settings.
The session will be chaired by Michael Freeston, Director of Quality Improvement at the Alliance with expert input from Isobel Wratislaw Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and Lynsey Weston Communications and Language Advisor.
A resource pack containing resources presented in the session and tutor notes so the session can be repeated in settings will be available after the webinar.
All of our previous webinars are available on our YouTube channel.
Each SMARTpd webinar is accompanied by a resource pack that contains the webinar slides, facilitator notes and other resources that can be used in your team meetings or training days to provide support and improve practice.
SMARTpd resource packs are available electronically for just £15 for members and £20 for non-members.
To order a resource pack email email@example.com or call 01732 363070.
